Result:Mmm. Chocolatey goodness, yes, but not nearly enough of it. More chocolate chips next time! Excellent with soy milk, would be even more excellent with cream cheese or, if we’re being fancy, mascarpone cheese.
Lesson Learned: Gwen was unsatisfied because we didn’t do it the Italian way, with mascarpone cheese and hot Italian men. Next time we shall.
After Jim Lahey’s amazing bread crust, I just can’t handle the crust on this one. I wonder… what if I dissolve the cocoa in water and basically made chocolate no-knead bread? Will try.
