(9/42) Chocolate No-Knead Bread… again
I made this bread last time. It was such a hit at home, I decided it would be a good sampler at our apartment party last week to get people to donate to my Dance Marathon fund.
The first time I made this, I split the dough in half and got two pretty large loaves of delicious, perfect bread. This time, aside from adding white chocolate chips, I stuck the whole thing in a silicon loaf mold. The crust was perfect, but once I tore it open, the center of the crumb was uncooked! I stuck it back in the oven, and it still turned out well, but that pissed me off. So, lesson learned: split the dough in half, especially when shaping into loaf mold.
